Noname Blesses The Rap Game With Debut Mixtape 'Telefone'

Noname Blesses The Rap Game With Debut Mixtape 'Telefone'

Chicago songstress and black girl magic wizard Noname released a debut mixtape 'Telefone' Sunday night after originally announcing the title back in 2012. From appearing on all three of Chance the Rapper's albums ("Lost", "Warm Enough", and "Finish Line /Drown") and collaborating with Mick Jenkins, on Telefone she shows she's fully capable of flying solo on a track. Childhood nostalgia, police brutality, and black womanhood are all themes Noname speaks to on the project. The four year wait was totally worth it.....now for a tour?
